This filter is designed to fit select Frigidaire refrigerator models and is certified by NSF International to reduce chlorine taste and odor, sediment, lead, cysts, turbidity, benzene, asbestos, and mercury. It also reduces the levels of certain pharmaceuticals such as ibuprofen, atenolol, progesterone, trimethoprim and more. The filter should be replaced every 6 months or when the “change filter” light comes on

How to install this part

1. Locate the filter compartment on your refrigerator. This is usually located in the top right corner of the refrigerator, behind a small access panel.

2. Remove the old filter by turning it counterclockwise until it comes out of the filter compartment.

3. Take the new filter and insert it into the filter compartment, turning it clockwise until it is securely in place.

4. Close the access panel and run water through the new filter for 3-5 minutes to flush out any air or debris that may be present in the system.

5. Reset your refrigerator’s water filter indicator light (if applicable)
